Lenovo's latest ultrabook,  ThinkPad X1 Carbon , is now in India priced at Rs 85,000.  The Chinese computer-maker  also said it plans to scale up its Think range of exclusive retail outlets to 30 in the domestic market. Lenovo shaved the 14-inch (35.5 centimeter)  laptop computer's weight to 1.3 kilograms  from 1.7 kilograms of last year's model and claims it to be the world's lightest business Ultrabook. According to the company, it would have up to eight hours of battery life and the startup time was reduced by as much as half to under 20 seconds. NEW DELHI: Reserve Bank today said the liquidity situation currently is comfortable and indicated that monetary policy action in the forthcoming mid-quarterly review next week would depend on latest developments in the money market. "For the last several weeks..., liquidity levels have been within our comfort zone... (but) we monitor this on a daily basis", Reserve Bank Deputy Governor  Subir Gokarn  told reporters on the sidelines of a function here. RBI, he added, would take note of emergence of "signs of stress, particularly if they are likely to be persistent. We will take that into account...we have for quite some time realised there was stress in the market both in terms of quantity of LAF (Liquidity Adjustment Facility) borrowings and in terms of the behaviour of the call rate which is the number we look at. New Delhi: More than 42 million people in India have fallen prey to cybercrime in the past 12 months, suffering about USD 8 billion in direct financial losses, estimates a report by security solutions firm Norton. The 'Norton Cybercrime Report 2012' found, based on experiences of more than 13,000 adults across 24 countries (including 1,000 from India), said direct costs associated with global consumer cybercrime are pegged at USD 110 billion over the past twelve months.  "In India, it is estimated that more than 42 million people fell victim to cybercrime in the past 12 months, suffering approximately USD 8 billion in direct financial losses," it said.  According to the report, 66 per cent of the Indian respondents (online adults) said they have been a victim of cybercrime in their lifetime. Ghaziabad:  The parents of the 7-year-old girl, who was allegedly raped by her school bus driver and cleaner, took out a protest on Sunday seeking action against the principal of the school. The girl's parents and the families of other children who attend the school, gathered outside the school gate and attended the protest march which ended at Indirapuram police station. They raised slogans against the school management and threatened to continue with the protest on Monday if a case was not registered against the principal and the in-charge of the transport company which provided the bus to the school. SP City Shiv Shankar Yadav said probe in the case is being headed by the Circle Officer, Indirapuram. "Legal action would be initiated against anyone found guilty in the investigation," he said. इंदिरापुरम में काला पत्थर से मंगल बाजार चौक तक अतिक्रमण से निजात नहीं मिल पा रही है। कुछ दिन पहले ही जीडीए की टीम ने यहां पर बड़े पैमाने पर अतिक्रमण हटाने की कार्रवाई की थी, मगर कुछ दिन बाद यहां दुकानदारों ने फिर से उसी तरह से अतिक्रमण कर लिया है। अतिक्रमण रोकने के लिए जीडीए की ओर से रेलिंग लगाने का प्रपोजल भेजा गया है। अप्रूवल नहीं मिलने से काला पत्थर से मंगल बाजार चौक तक रेलिंग का काम शुरू नहीं हो पाया है।  जीडीए के ओएसडी डी. पी. सिंह की देखरेख में अतिक्रमण हटाया गया था। अब फिर से दुकानदारों ने उसी तरह से सड़क पर अपने सामान फैलाना शुरू कर दिया है। काला पत्थर से मंगल बाजार चौक तक कई दर्जन दुकानदार गाडि़यों की रिपेयरिंग करते हैं। वे सड़कों पर ही अपने सामान फैलाकर रख देते हैं जिससे सड़क की एक लेन पर उनका कब्जा हो जाता है। दूसरी लेन पर बाइक और कारें पार्क कर चले जाते हैं। इससे अन्य वाहन चालकों और पैदल चलने वालों को परेशानी होती है। फुटपाथ पर कब्जा रहने से पैदल चलने वालों को सबसे ज्यादा समस्या होती है। 

Delhi-Ghaziabad route to be decongested Ghaziabad:  The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), in its 130th board meeting Monday, approved an elevated road project to shorten the distance between Delhi and Ghaziabad, officials said. The ambitious project concerns building an elevated road from UP gate (on the National Highway 24) to the Northern peripheral Expressway passing through the Hindon-cut canal in the Vaishali, Vasundhara and Raj Nagar Extension areas in Ghaziabad. "The project would cost between Rs.750 to 800 crore but would sharply cut the distance between Delhi and Ghaziabad," said Satosh Yadav, chairman-cum-vice chairman of the authority.At present, the UP gate is over 30 km from the zero point of Northern Expressway but after the construction of the proposed elevated road, the distance would be shortened to 18 km and that too hassle-free without any red light and crossing.
