Honda Cars India is luring Indian car enthusiasts by doling out enticing insurance offers on both its entry-level and premium offerings in the car market. Indian buyers can now avail a Re 1 insurance plan on the purchase of Honda cars like the Brio hatchback and City, Civic and Accord saloons. Interestingly, the actual cost of the insurance schemes for the mentioned Honda cars fall in the range between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 60,000.
Further, the company has also devised new loyalty bonus schemes to retain its faithful customers. Accordingly, the Honda car owners, who are eyeing an upgrade from their current vehicle to another member of the same family, will be provided with a bonus concession along with the buy back cost of the car. However, the upgrade must take place from a petrol fuelled vehicle to another petrol run vehicle.
The Indian car market is very important for the Japanese car maker and contributes a significant fraction to the fortunes of the company. Honda products have an intimidating fan following in the country and its cars remain the preferred choice of the Indian buyers, when considering the petrol fuelled vehicles. However, with the recent gloom in the market, the sales of petrol cars have dwindled and Honda Cars India became a victim of the slowdown as well.
To re-establish faith among the Indian buyers a lot of car makers are offering great discounts and cut-backs in the prices of their products. Further, the Indian festive season is just round the corner and all major car makers are leaving no stone unturned in their quest towards alluring Indian car enthusiasts back towards their showrooms. The Indian festive period is of great importance to the car makers as they record peak sales of the year, during the festivities.
Honda Cars India is also working towards the launch of the new diesel variant of its Brio hatchback, which is expected to be launched soon in the Indian car market.
