The company has been asked to respond in two weeks’ time.
Officials of the GDA said the company had violated the map it had submitted to the authority, before beginning the construction.
“Inspection found that 68 flats in tower L and 102 flats in tower K were constructed illegally. If a suitable explanation is not given, the towers could be demolished,” said D P Singh, officer on special duty, GDA.
Officials of Amrapali group said a fresh layout plan will be submitted before the GDA as part of its explanation. “If required, we will pay any fines or fees to resume construction,” an official said.
